Welding Engineering Specialist
Candidate must have a degree in metallurgy or welding engineering. An M.S. degree or Ph.D. degree in a related field is highly desirable. The candidate must have 15+ years of welding engineering experience in fabrication and manufacturing related to the oil and gas industry
Additional Experience Required
The candidate must be experienced in running welding procedures and codes, ASMES IX, AWS D1.1 and API 1140
The candidate must have been responsible for welding operations, selection of welding procedures and consumables, qualification of personnel and correction of welding problems
Candidate must be knowledgeable of materials and failure mechanisms in the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of "fitness for service" is required. Certification to AWS-CWI or CSWIP is desirable
Knowledge of refinery processes and gas plant operations is desirable; some field work in refineries will be required
Must be able to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural groups, and also be able to pursue work independently
Must be willing to mentor local staff and to provide training programs. Excellent written and spoken English are required
Excellent office computer skills are required
Electrical System Facilities Planning Specialist
Bachelors Degree (Advanced Degree preferred) in
Electrical Engineering. 10 years professional experience (E15+ years preferred)
Experience should cover: 10years professional experience (15+ years preferred); at least 10 years in electrical power distribution and transmission systems planning & operations in a public utility and/or capital program planning
Experience in evaluating existing and designing new substations, switchgear,
and MCCs 480V through 380kv
and MCCs 480V through 380kv
Experience in performing economic evaluations, feasibility studies and preparing requests for budgetary approvals
Experience with professional consultant in planning and executing engineering studies
Experience in applying and analyzing system simulation and modeling of electrical distribution systems using computer software such as E-TAP and similar software
Experience in conducting market research related to long term evaluation of power export opportunities
Experience in developing corporate strategies and master plans for electrical distribution and transmission systems
Experience in conduction load flow, motor starting, short circuit and dynamic stability studies
Possess excellent written and oral technical presentation skills
Oil Processing Facilities Planning Consultant
BS in Chemical Engineering, with Minimum 15 Years professional
experience - (20+ years preferred) professional experience in oil production, oil processing, facilities planning and capital evaluations
Advance Degree Preferred in MS CHE or PTE
Experience includes the following
Experience in performing economic evaluations, feasibility studies and preparing requests for budgetary approvals
Experience in process/system simulations
Demonstrated excellent written and oral technical presentation skills
Proficient in the use of personal computers
Refining & Petrochemical Facilities Planning Consultant
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical field. Continues to participate in post-graduate technical seminars and course work on own initiative related to his technical specialty. Incumbent will normally have achieved recognition through activities on committees of professional societies or participation in University sponsored programs. Preferably has a Master of Science degree
Has a minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in the petroleum industry, related industry or governmental sectors. Prior experience will have provided an appreciation of Project Management and Operational problems and their relationship to long range planning of facilities and associated economics. Experience should include at least ten years as individual in responsible charge of planning work in his main technical field. Incumbent will have achieved recognition as the foremost planning expert within and outside of the Company in his technical field based on proven ability to handle complex issues in a rigorous, analytical fashion
Must be able to work with minimum supervision on relatively unstructured tasks. Must have the demonstrated ability to produce top quality written and oral reports
Bldg & Industrial Support Facilities Planning Specialist
BS Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering; Advanced Degree Preferred, with a minimum of ten years experience. Experience in performing economics evaluations and feasibility studies, and in preparing for budgetary approvals; and possesses excellent written and oral communications and technical presentation skills
