16. Advertising & Marketing Manager
Scope:
The Advertising & Marketing Manager is responsible for formulating, directing and coordinating marketing activities and policies, and working with advertising and promotion agencies. He/She will identify, develop, and evaluate a marketing strategy based on knowledge objectives, market characteristics, and cost factors. He/She must also direct the training and performance of marketing staff and contracted advertising, marketing, and branding agencies. Negotiating contracts, establishing networks, developing strategies, and consulting with experts in this sector are also part of this position’s responsibility. Moreover, he/she should initiate market research studies and analyze their findings, coordinate and participate in a variety of promotional activities, and conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify the most effective means for reaching the company target audience. These activities should be executed in coordination with other departments and component champions. This is a PR-related job.
Minimum Requirements:
• B.A. in marketing or related field from an international university;
• Five years in international and regional marketing;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Be entrepreneurial and business-minded;
• Strong computer skills with a good level of Photoshop;
• Critical thinking, judgment and decision-making, time management, and negotiation are all highly desired skills;
